She has obtained her M.Phil degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Calcutta in 2008. She works as a Consultant clinical psychologist, associated with the Child Guidance Clinic of Apollo Gleneagles Hospital. Ms. Biswas is also associated with University of Calcutta as a Course Coordinator for the One year post graduate diploma course in cognitive behaviourial and existential counseling in the Department of Psychology.

She teaches Clinical Psychology and Cognitive Assessment at WBSU.
