Experience of guiding research scholars :
- 1. Five candidates have successfully obtained the degree of M.phil. in Sanskrit from the Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda University on submission of their dissertation papers.

- 2. Eight candidates are in progress of preparing their Ph.D. theses and they will be registered for Ph.D. programme of the West Bengal State University, very shortly after successful completion of the Ph.D. coursework as per U.G.C norms. Out of them four were previously registered with the Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda University for their Ph.D. programme. However, having been selected here they have shifted to West Bengal State University for pursuing the same. It is heartening to note that their theses are nearing completion.
Area of teaching and research interest :
Nyaya vaisheshika and other schools of Indian philosophy, Vyakarana, Sahitya, Veda and dharmashastra.
Association with other reputed institutions :
- 1. Teaching as guest faculty in the Post Graduate department of Sanskrit of the University of Calcutta from 2006 till date.

Associated with the Ramakrishna Mission Institute of Culture, Golpark as a visiting fellow in the centre for Indological studies and research of the institute and as a resource person in the three years functional Sanskrit course and Sanskrit learning workshops of the institute funded by the H.R.D.
