She has obtained her M.Phil degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Calcutta in 2009. She is currently a research associate for an ICSSR project on Personality Disorders conducted by the Department of Psychology, University of Calcutta. She has long been associated with the Calcutta University Industry Institute Partnership Programme (C.U.I.I.P.P) as a clinical psychologist specializing in assessment and counseling of patients with mental illness.
