Obtained his master degree in Business Administration (M.B.A) with specialization in Systems and Operations Management securing first class from The University of Burdwan. Thereafter, he completed his Ph.D. from the Department of Business Administration of the same University in February, 2009. He has a full-time teaching experience of around nine years in the post-graduate/under-graduate management departments of various Universities/Colleges, including Bengal Engineering & Science University-Shibpur, West Bengal State University, North Bengal University and different colleges under The University of Burdwan. This apart, Dr. Gupta has part-time teaching experience in the MBA courses of The University of Burdwan, Kalyani University, MCA course of North Bengal University and BE course of UIT, Burdwan. He has several publications in various International journals of ELSEVIER SCIENCE, having impact factor more than one. He has served as a reviewer of a few journals of ELSEVIER SCIENCE. He has also attended and presented papers in several national and international conferences. Over the years, at post-graduate level, Dr. Gupta has taught subjects like Operations Research, Production Management, Research Methodology, Advanced Mathematical Programming, Quantitative Methods, Management Information System, System Analysis and Design, RDBMS, Computer Fundamentals, C-Programming, Managerial Eco, Marketing Research, P.O.M,.
