Obtained M.B.A. with Marketing Management specialization from IISWBM, University of Calcutta and M.Phil in Management from West Bengal University of Technology. She has a full-time teaching experience of about seventeen years at various post-graduate Management Institutes, including Indian Institute of Social Welfare and Business Management, Army Institute of Management, and Future Business School, Kolkata. She also has part-time teaching experience in various Management and Commerce Departments of Universities including Calcutta University, Jadavpur University and Bengal Engineering & Science University. She has a few years of industry experience prior to teaching. She also has experience in Corporate Training and Management Consultancy in both private and Government sector. Her consulting experience includes projects sponsored by World Bank and Asian Development Bank. She has several research publications in national and international journals, including Journal of Foodservice Business Research, (Taylor & Francis Group), Survey and Kindler. She has also attended and presented papers in several national and international conferences. She has been awarded a University Grants Commission’s (UGC) Minor Project titled “Understanding the Relational dynamics of Loyalty in Technology-based Remote Service Encounters“, as Principal Investigator.
Her area of Specialization is Marketing and her research interest areas include Customer Relationship Management, Service Marketing, Strategic Marketing, Consumer Behaviour and Marketing Research
