She has completed her Post-graduation from Department of Psychology, Applied Psychology, and University of Calcutta; with specialization in Organizational and Environmental Psychology. She is presently pursuing Ph.D degree on ‘Negative perfectionism and its career relevance: relational precursors and influences on behaviour at the workplace’, from the Department of Applied Psychology, University of Calcutta. She has also qualified State Eligibility Test for lectureship (SET 2008).
She has been occupied as:
- Worked as a Full Time Lecturer in Psychology in the Department of Psychology, Seth Anandram Jaipuria College, Kolkata, from September 2007 to October 2009 and acted as the Coordinator of the Department during this period.
- Guest Lecturer in Psychology for postgraduate classes in the Department of Psychology, West Bengal State University from September 2009 – December 2009.
- Psychological Counselor for children residing at ‘Snehneer’ home of
Bhoruka Public Welfare Trust, Kolkata for the project “HIV/AIDS Crises in India: A Proposed Model for Services and Support to Orphans and Vulnerable Children and Families Affected by HIV/AIDS in Kolkata”, from December 2006-June 2007. The project was a Higher Education Partnership between Texas Southern University (TSU), University of Calcutta (CU) and Dominican University (DU), California.
